TVET Colleges & Universities — Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Placements
TVET Colleges play a vital role in South Africa’s skills development landscape. Their primary mission — to equip youth and adults with high-quality, demand-driven vocational and occupational skills — is one that Microlek Skills Academy wholeheartedly shares. That is why we are proud to serve as a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placement host for TVET College students and University interns seeking structured, practical experience in the electronics and mobile repair sector.
What Is Work Integrated Learning (WIL)?
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is the mandatory workplace experience component embedded in TVET College National Certificate Vocational (NCV) and National Business Certificate (N-series) programmes, as well as Diploma and Degree programmes at Universities of Technology. Students must complete a specified number of WIL hours in a relevant industry environment to complete their qualification.
Microlek Skills Academy provides TVET and university students with a structured, professionally supervised WIL experience that is directly relevant to their field of study — and that gives them a genuine competitive advantage in the job market.
